Houston is a powerful business city, next only to New York City, LA, and Chicago. It is the largest city in Texas and the southern United States! Here, you will find a huge variety of entertainment options. Tourists come to Houston to enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the city and the NASA Johnson Space Center.

Things to do in Houston

There are six districts in the city. Neartown consists of Midtown, EaDo – East End and Montrose. It is a liberal district with both kinky clubs and friendly people. At night, go clubbing after a fun day shopping at all the chic shops. There is a world-famous medical center in the South Loop. Outside of the city, the district has North Houston, East Houston, and West Houston. This is not a very traveled area for tourists, but there are lots of things that should interest you, if you want to go out.

The West Loop is the king of the Houston districts. From upscale neighborhoods and high-end shopping malls to elegant Art Deco architecture, West Loop screams class. It is one of the famous shopping districts of America. You won’t be disappointed by the nightlife here, either.

The North Loop is the quiet and confident district. Victorian Bungalows line the streets and restaurants offer a finely selected list of wines.

Downtown smells of money. Big brands, energy companies and corporate leaders have made this part of Houston their home.

Theaters abound the Theater district. However, The Hobby Center, The Alley Theatre (Tony Award Winning Theatre) and The Hobby Center are all located in the suburbs.

Hermann Park includes an outdoor theater, Museum, Zoo and Golf Course. In short, this city is able to cater to your every whim, from artsy to sporty.

Furthermore, outdoor activities are also embraced in the city. Memorial Park has a jogging trail that is loved by fitness freaks from around the state.

Various festivals are the microcosm of the city. At iFest, a huge variety of arts and culture are displayed together. You can also have a taste of international cuisines.

Most noteworthy, Art Car Parade takes place every year. It is a proud way for quirky artists from around Houston to show off their work.
