Jessica is originally from the beautiful state of Wisconsin in the United States. Growing up in the rural Midwest, she always dreamed of going off to explore the big wide world. As a child, she spent her days among the trees and wildflowers, which kindled her love for stories and all things imaginative.
Jessica believes that exploring our vast planet ignites a passion for life inside all of us. After her most recent overseas adventure to Munich, she began writing her first novel. She hopes to complete this novel by the end of 2017.
She is currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, Madison as a Comparative Literature & Folklore Studies major. In addition, she is completing her Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification.
After graduation she imagines herself traveling the world to teach English as a second language while she writes and continues to work as an editor for The Art of Travel.
When she is not traveling, writing or in school, she can be found at the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association, where she practices northern Shaolin Kung Fu and Sanda (Chinese kickboxing).
Let’s see the world!
