Palm Springs is a hot spot for A-list celebrities. But it’s not just for celebrities! 

This desert paradise, which gained popularity in the 1970s, offers luxurious holiday activities for every age group. You can do outdoor activities or relax in a soothing spa. The laid back atmosphere, blended with the beautiful scenery, takes Palm Springs from a mediocre to a classy destination.

The first thing that you should try here is the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Up in the car tram, you can have a look at the surreal view of the night. 

There are also numerous opportunities for hiking in Palm Springs. Murray Canyon, Tahquitz Canyon and Palm Canyon, along with many more, are both historical and adventurous spots. 

Sunnyland is the best thing in Annenbergs. This magnificently built house is an envy for every onlooker. You can book guided tours if you want a detailed tour of the beautiful landmark.

Palm Springs Museums are crafted carefully to attract and indulge visitor’s curiosity. The Air Museum displays the remains of aircraft from World Wars whereas the Art Museum sports Native American art. Agua Caliente Cultural Museum is a reflection of the native Agua Caliente tribe.

To add a luxurious touch to your trip, there are Golf resorts and casinos. The filthy rich can indulge in gambling and golf in Spa Resort Casino and Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort respectively. Shopping for clothes and mementos can be done in galleries and malls. Head to Desert Hills Premium Outlet in Cabazon if you want to browse through an endless variety of stores.

There are many festivals hosted here.  Some of these are the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Palm Springs International Short Film festival. These are held in January and July respectively. During the Annual fest of Restaurant week, you can savor the dishes of unique restaurants at low prices. Try Le Vallauris for its classic French cuisine, El Mirasol for a Mexican twist, and Melvyn’s to feel like a celebrity.
