Atlanta is a city that has seen the darkest days and risen from ashes. It now has the busiest airport on earth. Located in the American South, it has the Chattahoochee River winding through the boundary. The Stone Mountains tower over the east of the city.

Downtown Atlanta has the gorgeous skyline. Plus, it is the business center of the city. Buckhead is where you can find buzzing nightlife. The Southern region does not have the tallest skyscrapers like the other neighborhoods, but it has exquisite Victorian architecture. Furthermore, Mechanicsville, Lakewood, and Peoplestown are popular neighborhoods in this area.

Decatur has excellent dining options. You can walk through the quaint streets of residential Decatur and browse through the chic boutiques. The working class has settled in the western area of the city. Moreover, Adair Park, Vine City, Bank Head and Collier Heights are in this western region.

The fashionistas live in East Atlanta where the Virginia Highland neighborhood has chic shopping options. Midtown has an intimidating skyline. Woodruff Arts Center and Piedmont Park are in Midtown. You Can get around by renting a car. Also, the public transport system is extensive.

Atlanta is home to some super landmarks. For example, the Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world, and the Atlanta Ballet is the oldest dance company in the country. In addition, World of Coca-Cola is where you can learn each and everything about the world famous brand. CNN Center will give a glimpse behind the scenes of a popular news network.

There are museums and galleries for every age group here. Rober C. Williams Museum is one of its kind. Come gawk at the paper made exhibits in all their glory. The Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center represents local artists. However, for a free tour head to Rialto Center for the Arts.

History buffs will have a good time in Michael Carlos Museum (Greek & Egyptian history) and the Atlanta Cyclorama (Battle of Atlanta). Lastly, the breathtaking architecture of Inman Park, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, and Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel is a treasure to behold.
