This world famous, stunning lake acts as a winter sports capital for tourists. Tahoe straddles both Nevada and California, which names it largest resort Heavenly Mountain Resort as the largest in both Nevada and California.
Other areas for winter sports include Squaw Valley, Kirkwood Mountain Resort, and Northstar. Skiing is not the only thing to do here, Tahoe has a fair number of casinos. Gamble and spoil yourself at Crystal Bay Club or The Calvena.
When the wind blows through the columns of Acropolis and the wintry light shines upon the marbles – there is magic in that moment. There are many places where winter is beautiful.
